Our Management Committee is comprised of lived experience volunteers who have learned about BPD through caring for loved ones with the condition.
We are not mental health professionals nor clinicians. We are ordinary people who care for someone with BPD. Our website contains a collection of information that we have found helpful or of interest in the context of our own lived experiences. The content of this website is not a substitute for independent professional advice, diagnosis or treatment.
“People don’t always need advice. Sometimes all they really need is a hand to hold, an ear to listen and a heart to understand them.

About Us
Advocacy
We advocate for carers and their loved ones. We talk to state and federal politicians, government agencies, hospitals emergency departments, clinician groups and media to advocate for better services for our carers and their family members.
BPD is poorly understood by many in our community including in clinician groups and hospital emergency departments.
BPD carries a burden of stigma in many settings. We work to reduce this serious misconception.
